Your questions, our honest answers
Different insoles are available for Nature Trace GTX to increase or reduce the volume in the shoe. For this purpose, we have developed a slightly thicker insole for narrow feet and a slightly thinner insole for wider feet.
Our Vario-Wide-Fit-System allows you to adjust the volume in the shoe.
The Nature Trace GTX has been tested according to the standard DGUV 112-191 (BGR 191) and is therefore approved for orthopaedic insoles.
This allows the Nature Trace GTX to be adapted even more optimally to the foot and to support its anatomical structure.
HAIX shoes are 100% Made in Europe. For us, this is not just lip service, but lived practice. When it says "Made in Europe" on a HAIX shoe, we assure you that it was made exclusively at our production sites in Mainburg and Mala Subotica, Croatia. Both plants are among the most modern shoe manufacturing facilities in the world.

The rubber edge strip of the Nature Trace GTX provides stability and protects against spikes or stones. It therefore prevents unpleasant pressure points on the foot.
The shoes can be used for all hiking or hunting activities without annoying restrictions.
Unlike the Protector Forest 2.0, the Nature Trace GTX is not equipped with cut protection. Thus, it is slightly lighter than the Protector Forest 2.0.
While the Nature Trace GTX is often used for tracking, the Protector Forest 2.0 is suitable for forestry work.
The colours of the Nature Trace GTX are coordinated with hunting clothing, which is used when searching for hunted animals in wild terrain. So no one can be overlooked from head to toe.

We produce in a UK shoe size system. The distance between our half UK sizes is only a few millimetres. This makes it more likely to find exactly the right shoe length.

You can simply wash the dirty shoes with water and a brush. Please do not dry the wet shoes (even if they are wet on the inside) on an open fire, a hot stove or a heater. This will change the shape of the shoe. Simply remove the footbed and stuff the shoes with newspaper or use a shoe tree. Then allow the shoes to air dry slowly. We recommend washing the footbed regularly at 30°. In general, it is best to remove the footbed from the shoes after every wear to ensure optimal re-drying.
Simply clean it with a brush and water and let it air dry.
From experience, the Nature Trace GTX is a normal size. We therefore recommend that you choose the usual size.
Experience has shown that the shoe fits normally.

wieder die gewohnte Haix Qualität
Nachdem ich mit dem letzten Schuh von Haix so richtig reingefallen bin war die Firma so kulant mir den Kaufpreis der Schuhe zu erstatten also habe ich mir diesmal HAIX Nature Trace GTX bestellt zwar etwas mit Bauchschmerzen wegen der "gewagten" Farbe aber auch mit einem Grinsen im Gesicht. Nach dem auspacken diabolisches Grinsen ja sehr schön Anprobe, Hunde und ab in den Wald im Gegensatz zu den vorherigen Schuhen die gewohnte Haix Qualität ein sehr schönes Laufgefühl alles super. Jetzt nach 3 Wochen im Wald damit kann ich nicht im geringsten Meckern, warm,dicht, alle Untergründe die ich ausprobiert habe super griffige Sohle so wie ich es von meinen anderen Haix Schuhen gewohnt bin. Was ich vermisse früher gabe es die Unterlagen zu den Schuhen in einer schicken Mappe das hatte was elegantes und hat zu Eurer Qualität gepasst.

Toller Schuh! Auf den ersten Blick sehr robust und qulitativ gut verarbeitet. Erster Einsatz auf der Drückjagd war auch sehr positiv und ist vor allem auch tatsächlich wasserdicht.

At first I was drawn in by the bombastic colours, I was also drawn in by their similarities , robustness to the “HAIX PROTECTOR ALPIN” I have been working in for the past few years. The “ NATURE TRACE GXT” is virtually the same boot less the chain saw protection and ridged souls. This boot is like a highly tuned sports version in racing colours. Offering supreme support and compfert in all weather, climbing and running made easy as these boots a super lightweight and flexible.

Sehr guter Schuh echt Toll
Dachte beim Kauf, in Mainburg es wird einem einiges versprochen, um die Wahre an den Mann zu bringen. Habe gekauft, und gleich in Österreich am 11.01.2019 einem Härtetest unterzogen. Es waren Massen an Schnee, Geröll und Baumbruch zu bewältigen. War begeistert von dem Schuh, Zehen trocken, keine Nässe im Schuh sehr gute Trittsicherheit, selbst nach Stunden im Schnee. Vor dem ersten Einsatz erst mit der Imprägniermittel gepflegt. Durch die Zweizonenschnürung sehr gut sitzend. Kann man nur empfehlen. Danke an HAIX

Habe den Stiefel direkt nach Erhalt bei einer Treibjagt getragen. Bin begeistert. Auf Anhieb perfekter Sitz, keine Blasen. Der Gripp auf nassem Holz ist der Wahnsinn. Die Füße waren auch nach Stunden trocken und die Brombeeren und Dornen hatten keine Chance Schaden anzurichten. Außerdem sehen sie (auch matschig) mega aus.
