HAIX Airpower R23

Perfect climate comfort

The upper of the Airpower R23 is manufactured in high quality nubuck leather. Together with several layers of GORE-TEX^®, this ensures that your feet will stay dry. No water will penetrate, even after hours spent working in rainy and muddy conditions.  At the same time, sweat is absorbed and expelled. The shoe makes use of the pumping movements generated as you walk to transport moisture to openings located at the shaft and tongue. Climate comfort is further enhanced by a Texon insole, which also absorbs sweat, and by fast-drying insoles.

Comfortable and kind to the joints

The HAIX Airpower R23 is characterised by the excellent fit it offers. Anatomically formed lasts are used in its manufacture to produce a shoe which provides permanent support to the ankles. No pressure points or blisters will occur. A narrow heel and ankle area provides you with a firm grip within the shoe, whilst a particularly light impact-absorbing PU foam wedge contained within the heel improves toe-to-heel movement. You will not quickly become tired, even after long periods of wear, and will also find that the Airpower R23 reduces pressure on the joints and spine.

Upper material

• The HAIX Airpower R23 is manufactured in high quality nubuck leather, a material which is particularly robust, water repellent and breathable.
• An additional TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) toe cap also helps to prevent wear and tear in this area.
• Reflective orange strips along the outer sides of the shoe ensure that you remain visible in dim light conditions.

Lining, inlays, toe cap

• The Airpower R23 will keep your feet dry. Four layers of GORE-TEX^® prevent penetration by water or other liquids. At the same time, the tiny pores contained in the membrane enable sweat to be expelled and allow your feet to “breathe”.
• A lining made of a highly abrasion-resistant material and containing an inner layer of fleece guarantees optimum climate comfort all the year round.
• The Texon insole of the Airpower R23 is extremely robust and breathable. It also absorbs sweat and is very fast drying.
• Removable insoles also help deliver a high degree of comfort of wear.
• The HAIX Arch Support System supports the natural curvature of the metatarsus. The toes and balls of the feet are afforded plenty of room, thus providing effective protection against any malpositions.
• The Airpower R23 also features a puncture-resistant and metal-free sole made from meta-aramide fibre. This helps shield you against penetration from any sharp objects that may be underfoot.
• The shoe’s steel toe cap is particularly wide and gives plenty of space to the toes.

Sole

• The HAIX Airpower R23 has an anti-slip rubber sole with a deep tread. This gives a firm foothold on any surface, both in the workshop and out in the field.
• The sole of the shoe provides outstanding insulation against the cold and heat to ensure comfort throughout the year.
• It is resistant against oil and petrol and heat resistant up to a temperature of 300° C.
• It is also colour act and will not leave any dark marks behind as you walk along.
